I’m a huge fan of HomeGoods. It’s usually my go to place for home accents personally and for my clients. If you’ve never been to the store, let me help describe it. It’s a magical store that is completely stocked with a diverse selection of home decor, accent furniture, bedding, kids toys, unique foods, and a variety of other household goods and gifts. Everywhere you look there is always something interesting and unique. It’s almost hard to leave the store without buying at least one thing. I frequent the store about once a week because I can usually find accent pieces for my clients at affordable prices. I go there often because their inventory is constantly changing. One of my favorite rooms in my North Carolina project was the entryway. I just loved the long wide open hallway and the grandness of the space because of the wood paneling wrapping the hallway. It is beautiful and simple and only needed a few simple elements to style the space and make it feel more welcoming. There are a lot of people that might never hire an interior designer because it seems out of their reach financially. Hiring a designer can easily cost hundreds or thousands of dollars depending on the project so many people just don’t bother. Yet, there is that one room in the home that never feels stylish or quite finished. Some might say they don’t know what their style is, others might say they get stumped while shopping, and others may be hung up on the financial aspect of doing a makeover.
